This recipe can be adjusted depending on what you want to used the rolls for and with.They can be made with plain flour only for hamburger breads, or with some rolled oats, whole wheat or rye, different seeds, dried cranberries, sun dried tomatoes, olives or other flavorings you like. Serve them fresh with eg fish soup or other soups, or just enjoy them with cheese, jam or sandwich meat. The rolls can be frozen.

If you want fresh rolls for breakfast, reduce the amount of yeast to about 1/4 of the normal amount. Make the dough with cold water in the evening, cover and leave to rise over night at room temperature. At summer temperatures, a cool place might be best.
